What is a drop-in anchor for?

3. Setting the Anchor:A setting tool or a bolt that matches the internal thread of the anchor is then used to pull the expanding wedge into the shell, causing it to deform and expand outward. This expansion presses the shell firmly against the sides of the hole, creating a tight and secure fit.
4. Inspection: After installation, check that the anchors are fully set and have not loosened. If possible, a pull-out test can be performed to verify the load-bearing capacity of the anchors.
