Why are T-bolts often used in conjunction with flange nuts?

In industrial aluminum profile accessories, flange nuts and T-bolts are usually used together to install various accessories. But if some customers are not very familiar with flange nuts, they may wonder why they are paired like this. Shouldn’t T-bolts be paired with T-nuts or other nuts? Actually, it’s not like this. Each nut has its own unique features that other nuts cannot achieve. So what are the special features of flange nuts?

The T-shaped bolt is used to directly fit into the aluminum groove, and can automatically position and lock during installation. It is often paired with flange nuts and is a good helper for installing corner fittings and other accessories. T-bolts and flange nuts are matching accessories for European standard profiles, assembled with corner pieces. Their combined strength is great and they have a great anti slip and loosening effect. Flange nuts are specifically designed for European standard profiles, and T-bolts can be divided into national and European standards.

The dimensions and thread specifications of flange nuts and ordinary nuts are basically the same. Compared to ordinary nuts, the gasket and nut of flange nuts are integrated and have anti slip tooth patterns below, which increases the surface contact between the nut and the workpiece. Compared to the combination of ordinary nuts and washers, they are more secure and have greater tensile force.
